Velma Bell, MSW, L.C.S.W.
Velma Bell is a licensed clinical social worker, IFS (Internal Family Systems) Level 1 Trained and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) trained. I specialize in trauma informed treatment of anxiety, bereavement, grief, complex trauma, and depression in adults. Velma is a social worker, therapist, and trauma survivor. As the founder and President of Bell Inner Well Counseling, (BIW), Velma loves to provide evidence-based therapies and mindfulness to people of different backgrounds and walks of life, circumstances, and therapeutic goals. Velma has significant experience working with and for individuals, families, and couples. She has served in health care, education, public health, active-duty military, pregnant and postpartum women, justice involved adults, racial justice in the U.S and around the globe. Velma is currently an Adjunct Instructor for the Brown School at Washington University St. Louis.
