Black freedom at any cost is a sentiment Brittíni holds true as a master strategist who creatively works to heal communities from trauma. As a poet, healer and organizer, Brittíni has always worked at the intersections of art, healing, spirituality and justice and brings this passion to her work. She is a collaborator at heart,co-creating, co-leading, and co-founding dozens of community based projects over the past decade. Brittíni co-leads Lewa Farabale, a Womanist Gathering, runs her own business as an organizing consultant specializing in political education, healing justice, art, and cultural organizing, is currently working on a film project in partnership with Aziza Binti Films entitled- Movement Women: The Making of a CREW, launched the zine “For Pearl, With Love”in January 2019, and is anticipating her poetry being published this fall in the book, “Activist Theology” a collaboration with Dr. Robyn Henderson- Espinoza, an anti-oppression, anti-racist, non-binary Transqueer Latinx theologian recently Named by the Center for American Progress as one of the 10 Faith Leaders to watch in 2018!
