Event Details

Black educators are often extremely stressed in environments where they have to advocate alone for Black and Brown students. This presentation describes the challenges and complexities faced as they help students of color find academic successes. Come hear what Dr. Warren-Grice has learned in her research on Black educators; share your stories; and explore how we can navigate and negotiate these spaces to create something different in the upcoming school years. Like Kendrick Lamar said, “We gon be alright.”
