On October 12 and 13, St. Louis University is hosting a Liberation Based Healing Conference that focuses on reclaiming health and mental power, race and toxic masculinity, women and sexuality, art and activism, LGBTQ youth identities, decolonial therapeutic practice and more. As part of this event, InPower Institute’s Founder, Rebeccah Bennett is pairing with Dr. Damayanthi Niles, Professor of Constructive Theology at Eden Theological Seminary, for a moderated discussion of Practices That Support Liberation & Healing. This panel will explore liberation theology and community healing approaches that positively transform both the human core and condition. All are welcome to attend the conference, but those who are social workers, counselors and marriage and family therapists can earn 16 continuing education units.
