Image Control is a workshop designed to explore how images and narratives shaped via advertising campaigns have been used to animalize, dehumanize, and malign people of African descent. Through a series of activities, we will uncover the attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors shaped by the images we see. Participants will learn tools to reclaim their imaginations to create new, empowering, and truer messages with available technologies.
